Wir möchten uns bei all unseren Kunden und Partnern für das gute Jahr 2011 bedanken! Es war ein bewegtes Jahr, mit vielen Veränderungen, spannenden Themen, Strategien und wieder einer unglaublichen technischen Entwicklung. Schön, dass die Menschen über Social Media immer mehr zusammenfinden und gemeinsam Spaß haben, sich gegenseitig unterstützen und zusammen arbeiten. Wir wünschen Euch allen alles Gute und freuen uns auf ein gemeinsames 2012.

More and more businesses see social media as important for generating business value, and innovative use of their social resources for higher efficiency. Many companies still do not know how to get the best out of social media, but we think that the number of companies showing serious interest and starting social media projects will continue to go up in 2012. This is our opportunity. After all, social media is a significant long term business process evolution, and NOT a short term program. Our direction for 2012 at Hillert will be to consult customers on social media in multiple lines of business like marketing, sales, product development, hiring, customer service etc. and develop projects for implementation.
However, there is one area which, we believe, is unique both in the value it can derive from social media, and where we can provide significant value to customers – the area of product innovation. We believe, product innovation, via addition of usage-focused services to existing products, provides direct business value to users, differentiation for our customers, and stickiness to their products. This area will grow significantly as businesses try to adapt their products to diverse needs of customer. It also makes the best use of the top five unique elements of social media: many–to–many dialog, viral spreading, crowd sourcing, trend monitoring and opinion building. Product innovation consulting also uses our knowledge and insights in areas like Apps, mobile devices and cloud computing.
WOW! – our methodology to help customers develop strategy will continue as the foundation philosophy. It has been received very well for its simplicity and applicability to all business processes in all industries. In fact, it applies very well to everyone’s personal life as well, making it very intuitive, easy to understand and apply.
Bottom line for 2012: Consulting, design and implementation in the area of social media for business; with specific focus on product innovation leading to services surrounding products – and using WOW! as our foundation methodology.
